Ohio Valley Goodwill Announces New Grant for Veteran Transitional Housing!

Cincinnati, OH – September 5th , 2023

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries announces new grant award of $353,247 for its Transitional Housing Veterans Program from the Veterans Administration.

Through the Grant and Per Diem program, the Veterans Administration is awarding 454 grants totaling approximately $257 million to community organizations that provide Veterans with transitional housing and case management “” including connecting Veterans to VA benefits, community-based services, and permanent housing.

For more than thirty years, Ohio Valley Goodwill has been providing housing, skill training, employment assistance and case management support for our nation’s veterans and last year alone, served almost 600 veterans in the Greater Cincinnati community. ” We are very pleased that this new grant award will allow us to continue to provide these vital services for our nation’s heroes; our military veterans,” said Susie Skeens, Goodwill Grants Director.
