National Give Something Away Day is July 15, and Ohio Valley Goodwill is the perfect place to celebrate! The holiday was created as a way to encourage generosity and contribute to a better community.
Here are a few ways to celebrate this day at Goodwill:
We all have perfectly good ” stuff” lying around that we just don’t use anymore. Why not use this holiday to gather up the items you don’t need and donate them to Goodwill? Ohio Valley Goodwill Donation Centers are conveniently located all across the region, and we accept a wide variety of items, including household goods and clothing. Your donations are then sold in our Goodwill retail stores.
If you’re lucky enough to be free of clutter and would rather make a financial donation, you’re in luck! Goodwill makes it easy to do that too. With just a tap or click of a button, you can donate to Ohio Valley Goodwill online. Your generosity helps us change lives in the Greater Cincinnati community!
Did you know you could donate a car, truck, RV, or even motorcycle to Ohio Valley Goodwill? It’s true! We’ll even tow your vehicle for free if it’s not in running condition. Your Cincinnati car donation is sold at the Goodwill Auto Auction, and the proceeds support our programs and services. When you donate a vehicle, you might also be eligible for a tax deduction.Check out our answers to your Frequently Asked Questions, then donate your vehicle for National Give Something Away Day!
Remember, when you choose to support Ohio Valley Goodwill’s mission through your generosity, you’re making it possible for individuals to find fulfillment and freedom through employment. Goodwill provides job skills training, job placement services, and other support for individuals with disabilities and others facing barriers to traditional employment.
At Ohio Valley Goodwill, we make it possible for hundreds of people to become fully engaged, productive citizens each year. Your choice to give to Goodwill truly does make a difference. We hope you’ll support us on this National Give Something Away Day, and every day!
