The easiest way to give to Goodwill is through a nearby Goodwill Donation Center in Cincinnati. Of course they are “” these centers make donations quick and simple! Just pull up to drop off your donations, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Your Ohio Valley Goodwill Donation Centers are the perfect spot for donating clothing, linens, small appliances, and household items “” even small electronics like flat-screen TVs and flat-screen computer monitors. These items are sorted and prepared for resale at Goodwill’s retail stores. When you buy a gently-used item from Goodwill, the proceeds are used to support Goodwill’s mission to provide meaningful employment opportunities to people in our community.

Most people are familiar with Goodwill’s convenient Donation Centers, but there are other ways to donate that might not be on your radar!
If you have a large clean-up on the horizon, you might consider using a pick-up donation program. This is a priority service provided by Ohio Valley Goodwill’s local hauling partner, College Hunks Hauling Junk, which charges a fee based on the overall amount of items being collected. All you have to do is mention Goodwill when you book a junk removal service, and College Hunks will take eligible items to Goodwill and dispose of the rest. You’ll get a discount on the service by mentioning Goodwill, and your donation is still tax-deductible!
If you’re tired of not being able to fit your car in the garage, don’t forget about the Goodwill Auto Auction. There’s no need to prepare your car, boat, or RV for a listing, or to deal with potential buyers when you donate a vehicle to Goodwill. We’ve made it easy and stress-free to donate a car in Cincinnati! We take donated vehicles in any condition and can even tow your car free of charge. You may also receive a tax benefit by donating your car to Goodwill in Cincinnati, so don’t wait to donate!

It’s simple to make a one-time gift or even schedule recurring financial donations. Your generous financial support helps provide essential vocational programs and employment services for individuals with disabilities and our nation’s veterans, helping them go to work in the community!
Ohio Valley Goodwill is grateful for your donations, and for the meaningful impact your generosity allows us to create in the communities we serve. However, there are some things that we just can’t accept as donations due to safety concerns and limited resources.
For example, large appliances such as washers & dryers, dishwashers, and stoves cannot be donated to Goodwill. We also cannot accept some items due to EPA regulations and the cost of disposal. And please note that currently, Ohio Valley Goodwill is unable to accept furniture donations due to limited resources in response to COVID-19.
