Create a festive America themed tablescape! Scour our housewares section for red, white and blue plates, cups, pitchers and other table items. Instead of getting paper plates that are thrown away, consider going sustainable and picking up new-to-you plates at Goodwill that you can wash and use again. After you finish in the housewares section, head to our linens racks for a vintage tablecloth or even a repurposed sheet!
2. Vintage Cookcooks
What are you going to make for this picnic? How about some Americana throwback recipes? A recent trend on social media is to cook out of vintage cookbooks. Find recipe books from years past in our book section and cook some unique and new-to-you American recipes! Or make it an event and share recipes amongst your guests so everyone can bring a vintage dish to try.
