Josh has been working for Burlington Stores since 12/9/2020 in the Colerain community. During a time of high staff turn-over, Josh has been a reliable and consistent employee for Burlington and his supervisors say Josh has been a great team player. He is always on time and ready to work. Josh’s job is as a Loss Prevention and Recovery Specialist. This means that Josh will re-direct shoppers if the exit alarm is triggered indicating a sales tag needs to be removed as well as, to replace items that shoppers may move from one department to another while visiting the store. Josh is soft-spoken and one of the skills he was able to develop during his employment was feeling comfortable in greeting and talking to customers when they come to shop.
When he’s not working, Josh likes to go to the movies with his church members. He also enjoys spending time with his wife shopping and going to the movies. Josh is very appreciative of his family who are very supportive of Josh and his wife.
Josh’s counselor through Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is Carol Prince and Mark Leugers was the Goodwill Employment Specialist and job developer at the time who supported Josh in getting his position. ” Josh has really come a long way in his professional development since I originally worked with him on finding a job,” said Mark Leugers. ” He was initially very shy and had difficulty in talking with store customers and others. He has certainly made a lot of progress since he has been at Burlington and is viewed as a valued employee,” added Leugers.
