Greeted by President and CEO, Joe Byrum, Ohio Valley Goodwill was pleased to welcome Leigh Radford, Senior Vice President at Procter & Gamble and new Board Member for Goodwill Industries International (GII) to its corporate headquarters in the village of Woodlawn on Friday, September 3rd. Ms. Radford was provided a comprehensive tour of the Goodwill campus and enjoyed presentations by Services team members (Lois Kramer, CARE, Chelsea Ashcraft, Employment Services, Kelly Manns, Evaluation and Training and Susie Skeens, Veterans Services) as well as from representatives from its Retail, Donations and Industrial Services divisions. While familiar with the Goodwill mission generally, Ms. Radford learned about Ohio Valley Goodwill’s local impact in terms of helping people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to obtain employment, assistance with housing as well as the overall economic impact of the organization’s efforts in the larger community.
As a new member of Goodwill Industries International (the Member Services Center with which Ohio Valley Goodwill is affiliated); Ms. Radford will help to guide the future direction of the international organization and its ongoing mission in the larger global community. “Ohio Valley Goodwill is so pleased to be able to welcome Ms. Radford to our corporate headquarters and to provide her with some insights about the organization’s 105 year mission of service to the Greater Cincinnati community,” said Joe Byrum, President and CEO. “We are honored that she was able to make time to visit us and learn more about what Goodwill does in serving the local community,” added Byrum.
Ohio Valley Goodwill is grateful to Ms. Leigh Radford for her visit and we look forward to her leadership as a new member of the Goodwill Industries International Board of Directors.
