Ohio Valley Goodwill Proud to be 2021 Sponsor of ShareFest Donation Drive!
Now that Spring has officially arrived, the 2021 ShareFest Donation Drive in partnership with the city of Oxford and Miami University is right around the corner. Being held Thursday, May 13th through Wednesday, May 19th, Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased to once again be the major Donation sponsor of the annual ShareFest Donation Drive. As always, the ShareFest donation event is promising once again to be a major community event which will not only help to responsibly recycle donated items but also, to benefit local charity partners. As a major sponsor of the annual ShareFest Donation Drive, three of Goodwill’s donation trailers will be positioned at donation central at the Chestnut Fields HQ in downtown Oxford. Due to on-going safety precautions related to COVID-19, there will not be off-campus pick-ups as in year’s past and students will have to drop off donations at Chestnut Fields.
The mission of ShareFest is as a service and environmental nonprofit corporation dedicated to the collection and redistribution of items donated by Miami University students and the Oxford community at the end of the academic year. Collected items are shared with local human service organizations and recycled responsibly as appropriate.
” As a business partner in the Oxford community, Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased to once again be a sponsor and supporter of the ShareFest donation event,” said Jeff Eastham, Operations Director. The organization’s Oxford Goodwill store is located at 203 South Locust Street (close to the Oxford library) and offers a selection of fashion items, books and collectibles and is a popular shopping location for Oxford residents as well as Miami University students. The Oxford Goodwill store also features a drive-thru donation center for the convenience of local donors.
