The evening of June 26th marked the occasion of the first-ever Best Workplaces in Ohio Celebration held at Industrious in Columbus, Ohio. Hosted by Ohio Business Magazine, Ohio Valley Goodwill was one of the organizations selected for recognition for the state-wide award. In the category of companies with more than 200 employees, Ohio Valley Goodwill was one of four non-profit organizations singled out for recognition out of 21 total agencies included in the category. Award winners were selected by committee based on a number of factors primarily focused on engagement with employees. The editors of Ohio Business Magazine note the following: “What makes a great workplace?
