Cincinnati, OH · · December 13, 2017- On Thursday, December 14th , Ohio Valley Goodwill in partnership with the Sharonville Convention Center and Spectra Food Services and Hospitality will be hosting its 16th annual Homeless Awareness Dinner. Ohio Valley Goodwill and its Special Projects Team sponsor the busses provided by Queen City Transportation to enable the more than 250 expected guests from nine local homeless shelters to attend the annual holiday event.
Being held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Sharonville Convention Center, this year’s attendees will enjoy a lavish holiday dinner provided by Spectra Food Services and Hospitality and served by company volunteers and family members.
The program for the evening will include dinner, dancing and gifts for all the attendees. The highlight of the evening is always the visit from Santa who will be reading a Christmas story to all of the children expected at this year’s event. Ohio Valley Goodwill is grateful to Santa Pat for donating his time for this very special holiday event this year.
For more than a century, Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries has been helping people in the Greater Cincinnati community to achieve personal success. The annual Homeless Awareness Dinner event is one of the many ways in which Goodwill works with community partners like the Sharonville Convention Center and Spectra Food Services in bringing awareness to the issue of homelessness in our community.
