Goodwill is your Back-to-School Shopping HQ During Ohio Sales Tax Holiday August 4th-6th!

For the third straight year, the state of Ohio is offering a three-day sales tax holiday to help residents save money on back-to-school purchases. And, as always, Goodwill’s network of 17 retail stores are filled with everything kids need this Back-to-School shopping season- and at much, much less! With new shipments of school supplies, on-trend Fall fashion and even backpacks, Goodwill can be your Back-to-School shopping HQ during the Ohio Sales Tax Holiday.

According to the Ohio School Boards Association newsletter, the holiday runs Aug. 4-6. The following items will be exempt from sales and use tax: clothing priced at $75 per item or less; school supplies priced at $20 per item or less, and school instructional material priced at $20 per item or less.

The holiday also applies to mail, telephone and online purchases.
