More than 700 individuals participated in this year’s holiday luncheon event which is always highlighted by the singing and dancing of attendees as they joyfully chime in on their favorite Christmas carols. Held in the organization’s headquarters cafeteria and adjacent meeting rooms, the luncheon is prepared by Goodwill’s Food Services training team which pulls out all the stops to make sure that the meal is enjoyed by everyone in attendance. ” We really enjoy working together on this annual holiday event and this year’s is especially meaningful because it takes place during the final weeks of our year-long 100th anniversary celebration,” said Kelly Manns, Assistant Director of Training Services. ” It’s so great to see everyone celebrating together during the holiday season.”
Ohio Valley Goodwill and its team members enjoy the festive holiday luncheon event every year and are grateful to the organization’s volunteer Service Guild, the Food Services team and Chef Francisco Lopez for their hard work and generous sponsorship. This year’s special 100th Anniversary luncheon event signals the final organizational celebration of Goodwill’s year-long salute to its century of service in the Greater Cincinnati community. Ohio Valley Goodwill’s looks forward to the beginning of a new century of service as the organization moves into the New Year in 2017.
