Ohio Valley Goodwill Announces New Attended Donation Center Opening in New Richmond at IGA!

Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased to announce that the organization will be opening a NEW Attended Donation Center at the New Richmond Rivertown IGA located at 1041 Old US 52 on Monday, October 3rd. The new Goodwill Donation Center will be the first of its kind in the New Richmond community and came about as a result of the organization’s first-time involvement in the recent RiverDays celebration event. Goodwill was invited to be part of the annual RiverDays event by the New Richmond Council this year as part of an initiative called “New Richmond Cares.” Held on Saturday, August 20th in honor of Goodwill’s 100th anniversary of service to the Greater Cincinnati community, generous local residents and festival goers brought donations in support of the organization’s mission of service.

As a result of the success of the first-ever partnership with the RiverDays celebration, discussion soon began as to the possibility of Goodwill partnering with the Rivertown IGA on the possibility of hosting a Goodwill Donation location. An agreement was quickly reached and the new Goodwill Donation Center will open its doors on Monday, October 3rd. Opening hours for the Goodwill center will be 8:00 am until 8:00 pm but are subject to change based on community need. Donors are cordially invited to bring their gently worn clothing and other small household items to the new Goodwill Donation Center started Monday, October 3rd. Goodwill reminds donors that donations should only be made during operating hours so that donations are received properly and receipts can be given.

The Goodwill Donation Trailer will be open Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (initially) at the Rivertown IGA close the RideShare parking lot.
