Ohio Valley Goodwill’s employment and training center in Woodlawn was the host location for a Metro orientation visit which took place during the last week in October. More than fifty interested riders who are currently enrolled in the organization’s programs and services took advantage of the opportunity to take a free bus ride and find out more about using Metro.
The Metro orientation event was organized by Goodwill’s Community Integration team which is focused on helping people to access their local community as much as possible. “We were so pleased that Metro was able to devote this time to help us show the people we serve that Metro can be an accessible and fun option to help you get around your community,” said Ashley Murray, Goodwill Coordinator.
Ohio Valley Goodwill is dedicated to helping people with disabilities to achieve personal success in employment and to becoming fully integrated into their communities. The Metro orientation event reflects the organization’s on-going commitment to this mission. To find out more about Goodwill’s programs and services, please visit www.cincinnatigoodwill.org/services.
