Saturday, May 20th marked the performance debut of the ” Goodwill Pearls” at the second annual Lip Sync Battle in support of the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities. The five member group include: Shelley Harris, Lois Kramer, Ann Mackzum, Paula Smith and Mary Wellen. Ohio Valley Goodwill has worked in partnership with Clermont DD and Hamilton County DD Services for the past six years on providing employment and training services for adults with disabilities in the Clermont County community as well as residents on the East side of Hamilton County. ” I couldn’t be more proud of the ” Goodwill Pearls” and their amazing debut,” said Lisa Schneider, Asst. Director of DD Services. ” They worked really hard on rehearsals and Lois even got her daughter to help out with choreography,” added Schneider.
The second annual Lip Sync Battle was held at Jungle Jim’s Paradise Pavilion in Eastgate and the groups were surrounded by their fans as they performed. Ohio Valley Goodwill was pleased to be a sponsor of this year’s event. The groups included in this year’s Lip Sync Battle included: The Goodwill Pearls, The Dynamic Duo, Lil Panda and the Jungle Janes, World Class Ping-Pong Player Extraordinaire, and Hip Hop Chesnuts.
